Abdul Salam Nuhu (born April 14, 1994), known by the artist name Elroy Salam is a Ghanaian photographer.[1][2][3][4]

Early life and career[edit]
Salam is the third born of four children and the only son of his parents.[5] He had his junior high school education at Most Holy Heart School and later attended St. Augustine's College in Cape Coast for his senior high school education. He attended the University of Ghana and obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
Salam started his career as a commercial photographer while still in University.[6][7] He is now the head of Elroy Multimedia as well as the creative lead and founder of a Sub-Saharan hip-hop content publication outlet, Hip-hop Afriq.
In November 2022, Salam's work on the impact of climate change on mental health was featured on the Voice of America (VOA) Africa TV program Healthy Living.[8]
Exhibitions[edit]
Salam was part of 6 artists who exhibited their works during the Spritz on Canvas art exhibition organized by the Italian Business Association of Ghana in Accra in 2021.
Awards and recognitions[edit]
- Nominated for the Most Influential Student Photographer by the Ghana Tertiary Awards in 2016.[9]
- His work has been featured by the CNN in a story that featured the return home of Ghanaian diasporans.[10]
