Giwa Hakim, known by the stage name Enamel is a Nigerian musician.[1] He is mostly known for his Single "Pokish" which was featured by Galaybanton and produced by Kiddominant. He is associated with the record label More Coke Everyday.[2][3] In February 2020, Enamel released his new single "Gang" produced by Kiddominant including a music video featuring the music.[4]
Early life and career[edit]
Enamel was born in Ibadan,Oyo State, Nigeria. He grew up in a strict family. His mother was the headmistress of a school and his father a civil servant at the Water Corporation of Oyo State.[5] The nickname "Enamel" was derived from his brothers after he fell face flat, teasing that he’ll need to strengthen his tooth “Enamel” to get his smile back.
His musical career started doing music covers, singing in Clubs, parties and shows in Johannesburg.[6] During his career, he collaborated with Kel P, Kiddominant and Mac Eleven. Enamel also owns a hair-food manufacturing company called Likha.[7]
