Other Activities[edit]
“1-2-3.... "[edit]
The Engegård Quartet organizes the mini-festival "...på 1-2-3"[55], which has taken place in Oslo every autumn since 2016. Each festival focuses on one single composer. Until now, the following composers have been presented: 2016 Schumann, 2017 Mozart, 2018 Beethoven, 2019 Brahms, 2020 Olli Mustonen, 2021 Haydn and Schubert in 2022. The festival brings together both Norwegian and foreign musicians. In addition, emphasis is placed on giving opportunities to young musicians. The Nordberg String Orchestra, with young people from the Nordre Aker district in Oslo, has performed at the festival every year.
Amateur quartet weekend[edit]
Since 2013, the Engegård Quartet has collaborated with the Oslo Quartet Association to present a weekend course for amateur musicians. Amateur groups receive coaching from the Engegård Quartet, have the opportunity to rehearse together and play quartets and other chamber music for each other[56].

Arvid Engegård is Artistic Director and one of the founders of the Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival[57]. Arvid Engegård is also active as a conductor[58].
