Englishdom is an online English language school established in 2010. As of September 2023, the school had over 100,000 teachers and more than 1.2 million active students. In April 2022, the company launched a charitable initiative to support Ukrainians affected by Russia's full-scale invasion, offering free group lessons for adults and children and free access to all courses for a year.

Englishdom was founded in 2010 in the CIS region.[1] Between 2011 and 2016, the company launched the Speaking Clubs platform and opened offices in Poland,[2] Slovakia, Lithuania,[3] and Hungary. In October 2017, Englishdom launched the ED Words mobile application for interactive vocabulary study, available on the App Store and Google Play.[4]
In August 2019, Englishdom released the ED Class platform to conduct individual classes via video calls, later launching a mobile application on the App Store and Google Play.[5]
In August 2020, the company entered the list of the top 100 EdTech ventures in Eastern Europe.[6] In 2021, Englishdom became part of AllRight holding.[7] In March 2023, it opened its first office in Romania.[8]
In 2023, Englishdom received the English Online Award as a result of voting during the Ukrainian People's Prize.[9]
Charity[edit]
In April 2022, Englishdom launched a charitable initiative to support Ukrainians affected by Russia's full-scale invasion, offering free group lessons for adults and children and free access to all courses for a year.[10]
During the Russian-Ukrainian war, Englishdom raised over 700,000 UAH for the Come Back Alive Foundation, Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, Group 35,[11] UNITED 24 and Braveproject in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.[12]
