Eric Hollreiser
Eric Hollreiser is Vice President of Corporate Communications for Amaya Inc. and PokerStars.[1] He has previously held communications positions at Disney,[2] Microsoft [3] and Activision.[2] In March 2014, he was named to Gaming Intelligence’s Hot 50.[4] He often is cited in news articles about online gambling issues. After graduating from New York University, Hollreiser became a journalist for several consumer and business media outlets including Rolling Stone, New York Magazine and Philadelphia Business Journal.[7]
In 2001, Hollreiser was named Senior Vice President of Media Relations for ABC Cable Networks Group.[8]
After Disney, Hollreiser was Microsoft’s Director of Corporate Communications, managing consumer press, corporate reputation and consumer PR strategy for brands, including Windows, Xbox, Zune, MSN, Windows Live and Windows Mobile.[9]
Before joining Amaya and Rational Group, Hollreiser was Vice President of Public Relations for Activision and managed worldwide communications for Guitar Hero and DJ Hero in 2009.[10]
Hollreiser joined PokerStars and Rational Group in July 2011 as Head of Corporate Communications and continues to lead its media relations, internal communications, public relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility initiatives, social media and talent communications.[11] Hollreiser was profiled by Holmes Report, detailing PokerStars' response to online poker's "Black Friday," [12] a topic covered by the Wall Street Journal among others.[13] He is regularly featured in trade publications.[14]
