Ernest Aboagye Forson
Ernest Aboagye Forson (born on December 19, 1985) is a Ghanaian Statistical Actuary student from the Illinois State University who graduated top of his class, with GPA of 4.0 and won the 2017 Statistical Project competition, with a reward of $2,500.[1][2]
Early Life and Education[edit]
He started his education at Borkor and moved to New Gbawe Experimental School D/A both in New Gbawe in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. He wrote the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), and scored 8 out of 9 ones. From there, he proceeded to Accra Academy Senior High School to study Business.[1][3][1] After four years of second-cycle education with distinction at the Accra Academy.[4] Ernest had his first degree at the University of Cape Coast. In 2014, he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science after graduating as the overall best student with a GPA of 3.92 .[4][5] He acquired his second degree in 2017 at the Illinois state college after completing a 2-year Masters programme in Mathematics with a sequence in actuarial science and was adjudged winner of the 2017 Statistical Project competition with a GPA score of 4.0.[6][7]
