Ethan Gontar is an Israel-based musician, composer, producer, filmmaker and a singer-songwriter who primarily records covers and original songs with a strong foundation in Acoustic folk styles, Classical music, Pop, and Electronic music.
Music Career[edit]
Gontar created his first YouTube channel in 2009 for making parodies, and shut it down for a personal reason.[1]Gontar started his musical career on YouTube in 2011 and and set up his second YouTube channel. Since then he has done covers for all kinds of songs. In 2019 he released his first single called "Forever". [2]
In 2022 he released his second single called "Say Goodbye" with an animated video clip.[3] Later that year he was interviewed for several music and news magazines around the world and talked about his new single "Say Goodbye" and his future plans to produce a first album. [4] On March 20, 2022, He released his third single called "Wildest Dreams" featuring Shay Vagner. [5] [6][7]
Later in 2022 he released another single called "Perfect" with his second collaboration with Shay Vagner. [1]
Film Production Career[edit]
Gontar has been an editor and video shooter since he was a child. In 2021, he founded a private production company under the name 'Gontar Productions', which specializes in producing commercials, promotional films, composing original soundtracks, and recording narration for films.
Personal life[edit]
Gontar was born on May 17, 1996, in Nahariya, Israel, and grew up in Acre. Gontar learned how to play the piano at age 6, and started to play the guitar at age 11.
Ethan Gontar graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications.
