Ethel Hallow is a fictional character in Jill Murphy's The Worst Witch. Ethel is usually shown as a bully and rival of the titular character Mildred Hubble.[1] In the film, she is portrayed by Anna Kipling.[2] In the 1998 TV series, she is portrayed by Felicity Jones[3] and, later, Katie Allen. Jones reprised her role in the spin-off Weirdsister College.[4] In the 2017 TV series, she is portrayed by Jenny Richardson.[5]
