A.K.M Fahim Mashroor (born 1 October 1972) is an IT business entrepreneur in Bangladesh.[2] He is the former president of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and also the owner and founder of Bdjobs.com, Ajkerdeal.com and Beshto.com.
Early life and education
Fahim Mashroor was born in Dhaka. After completing his studies at Motijheel Ideal School and Notre Dame College, he graduated in economics from University of Dhaka and received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA).[3]
Career
Mashroor created the job portals Bdjobs.com, Ajkerdeal.com, and Beshto.com.[4][5][6] He was the former president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services, the association for the software industry in Bangladesh.[7][8]
Awards and honors
- 2018 – Best SME Entrepreneur (Service Category). Awarded by SME Foundation.[citation needed]
- 2016 – E-Business of the Year. Awarded by The Daily Star and BASIS.[9]
- 2014 – ICT Personality of the year. Awarded by Ministry of ICT.
- 2008 – Best Young Entrepreneur. Awarded by Dhaka Chamber of Commerce (DCCI).[10]
