Fateh Muhammad Khan
Fateh Muhammad Khan (Urdu: فتح محمد خان) was the seventh Nawab of Bahawalpur who ruled the State of Bahawalpur from 1853 to 1858.[1]

He ruled firstly under the supervision of Company rule in India and then under the supervision of British Raj. He died 3rd October 1858 and succeeded by his eldest son Bahawal Khan IV.[3]
Biography[edit]
He was the eldest son of Bahawal Khan III but after death of his father, his younger brother Sadiq Muhammad III succeeded to throne of Bahawalpur according to his father's wish. But after few months he deposed his brother and came to throne on 8th February 1853 at Derawar Fort with the help of Daudpota Sardars and British residents.[3] He also granted a hereditary salute of 17-guns in 1855.[4]
