Felipe Santos (singer)
Felipe Santos is a singer originario, composer, and pianist from Bogotá, Colombia. He is dedicated to the Latin pop genre that gained popularity in the summer of 2012 thanks to his single "Forget You", which he recorded with the duo Cali & El Dandee.[1]
Career
He signed with Warner Music Group, who promoted his single. His style fused elements of pop with rhythms derived from Latin music, synthesizer lines, and lyrics about relationship problems.
"Forget You" received more than 33 million views on YouTube. After this success, Santos began recording his first album, titled Does Not Remain At All, an EP. He was inspired by musicians like Carlos Baute, Carlos Vives and Juan Luis Guerra.[2]
