Felix Stewart

Felix Stewart (born 1 October 1984) is a US American boxer best known to win the National Golden Gloves at super heavyweight in 2006.

Career[edit]

Stewart who is a former running back/ linebacker at East High School is fighting out of Columbus was disqualified at the Golden Gloves 201 lbs tournament in 2002 against Devin Vargas. He was convicted of an August 2002 aggravated robbery charge and spent three years in a Department of Youth Services detention center, according to documents in the Franklin County Clerk of Courts office.

He came back at super heavyweight and defeated Ashanti Jordan and an inexperienced Michael Hunter to win the Golden Gloves title 2006.

In 2007 the 6-foot, 211-pound Stewart lost to Mike Wilson in the national championships.

He is not listed any more by USA boxing.
