Overview
The Financial Education Instructor of the Year award recognizes individuals that have demonstrated a commitment to the financial literacy movement.
This award is issued by the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) to recognize financial educators. The winner of this award serves as the spokesperson for the year’s Financial Educators Day activities.

The National Financial Educators Council[edit]
The NFEC is an education company which provides financial literacy material, promotes advocacy campaigns, sets standards, conducts research and shares best practices.[7]
Financial Education Awards[edit]
The NFEC honors individuals and organizations that represent the best practices in the industry. Award recipients must demonstrate a commitment to create positive change in the financial behaviors of those they serve, raise awareness about the financial literacy movement, and/or support sustainable financial education programming that continues to benefit people in the future.
