Fischer & Söhne AG is a Swiss plastic processing company based in Muri AG. Fischer Söhne AG engages in the pharmaceutical and automotive container industries.

Alois Fischer founded the Fischer Company in Dietikon Switzerland in 1923. Since 1952, the company has mainly produced carton and paper containers.
In 1959, the company rebranded as Fischer & Söhne AG. In 1960, the first extrusion blow molding plant for containers came into operation, resulting in the addition of plastic containers to their product line. In 1971, the Fischer family withdrew from the company. Shareholders bought the company in 1980. In 1997, the company started producing prepaid cards for public telephone calls known as Smart Cards.
Fischer S.A. De C.V. Mexico was founded in 1998 and operated a production plant in Mexico. In 2002, Fischer & Söhne AG took over a company called Polar in Eschenbach. The main interest behind this purchase was the medical technology of Polar (transferred to Muri, Switzerland, in 2005.) The Eschenbach site was closed, the majority of employees of Polar terminated and the Smart Card manufacturing site converted into a production site for medical technology. In 2011, an extrusion blow molding facility was built[1] along with a new extrusion blow hall. In 2013, the company became a member of Swiss Plastics (SwiPla), an industry association founded in 1992.[2]
In 2014, Fischer Söhne presented the first Swiss barrier coating capsule for Nespresso systems.[3] Since 2014, the corresponding Swiss Plast GmbH (Limited Liability Company) was acquired.[4]
Fischer Söhne is certified according to ISO 9001: 2000.[5]
