Flag of Quintana Roo

Proportion | 4:7 |
All Mexican states have a coat-of-arms; these are like flags which distinguish each of them. In addition, these coats-of-arms of Mexico's constituent states and the federal district are placed on a white background proportioned 4:7. as state flags. Another report explains that these very same state coats-of-arms are used in the central panel of a Mexican Tricolor, mainly for touristic purposes.[1]
The flag of the state of Quintana Roo is a white background on the current state of the shield and is regarded as the first flag of Quintana Roo state despite its simplicity. The flag was officially adopted on October 8, 2013 during the ceremony of 39th anniversary of the creation of this entity.[2]
