Florida State Road 847 is a major thoroughfare in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, parallel to SR 817. Being over 30 miles long, it is a major road in cities like Parkland, Coral Springs, Davie, Pembroke Pines, and Miami Gardens. Many local names are in place (Palm Avenue in Southwest Ranches, Miramar, and Pembroke Pines, Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs, Nob Hill Road in Parkland, Tamarac, Lauderhill, Sunrise, Plantation, Davie, and Cooper City, and NW 47 Drive in Miami Gardens).
Route Description
For the majority of its 30-mile length, it is named Nob Hill Road.
Parkland
State Road 847 begins at the intersection with Loxahatchee Road in the Palm Beach County area of Parkland. Around a mile later, it reaches the Palm Beach-Broward County line at Hillsboro Boulevard. (There are construction plans from between SR 817 and SR 827.)
