Frame Film Festival
The Frame Film Festival is a student-run event showcasing talent from across India. Submissions are obtained from independent short film producers who are students or recent graduates.
Sponsorship[edit]
The event is a not-for-profit operation that either hosts a charity or reinvests the funds into the event. Typically support is obtained through corporate sponsors, who provide material or financial backing for the endeavor.
Past Events[edit]
Organizers of the 4th Annual Frame Film Festival included Omar Ha-Redeye, Catherine Patterson, Anne Morello, Mahsa Shamsipour, and Marcella Young. Judges for the event included Adam Nayman, David Wallace, and Claudio Castro.
2006 Winners[edit]
The 1st Place and Viewers' choice awards both went to "Park of Lonely Benches," by Mikhail Petrenko of Odoovan Films. Second place was awarded to Shiv Harrilal of SVP Films (King Academy Pictures) for "Waiting." That award was received on behalf of Shiv Harrilal by Sergei Petrov, winner in the previous year at the Festival.
Other nominees included Ryan Manankill (FrontLine Cinema) for his film "Forever", Geoff Anhorn for "Good Intentions", and Jonathan Lall for "Hero's Advice".
