Frédéric (Fred) Charles Lambert (born August 2, 1991) is a Canadian writer and podcaster who is known for his reporting on Tesla and the electric vehicle industry. He is a founding member of Electrek and has been editor-in-chief of the publication since 2015.[1] Lambert hosts the Electrek Podcast with Electrek publisher Seth Weintraub.[2] The Electrek Podcast often ranks in the top automotive podcasts in the United States.[3]

Inverse called Lambert a "driving force in electric transportation".[4]

Lambert has been accused of being overly positive on Tesla in his reporting by automotive publication The Drive,[5] but he has also been labelled anti-Tesla by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.[6]

Tech publication Ars Techinca reported that Lambert has "good connections" inside Tesla.[7]
