G22 (Group)
G22 (read as “G-twenty-two”) is a four-member Filipino girl group formed and under Cornerstone Entertainment.[1] The members consist of Bianca, AJ, Alfea and Jaz. They debuted on February 25, 2022, with their first single entitled "Bang". [2] The group released its second single entitled "Babalik" on May 20, 2022.[3][4]

Name
The name “G22” is an allusion to a gun (the Glock 22). The “G” is open to interpretation but the “22” is indicative of the year of their launch.[5] [6]
Fandom
Their official fandom name is called Bullets, which is quite apt given the title of their debut song. A gun cannot work without its bullets.[7] [8]
Career
Pre-Debut
On February 19, the title track for their first debut single was announced and it was revealed that the name was “BANG”!
2022: Debut with BANG!
On February 25, the group made their first official debut with their first single "BANG!".
On April 9–10, 2022, G22 attended the 2022 PPOPCON as an opening act performer on the same day at the New Frontier Theater for the Day 1 convention and at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for the main event of the concert and the convention.
2022: first comeback single, “Babalik”
On May 2, 2022, it was announced that the group would make a comeback again on May 20, 2022, by releasing a logo motion video and a comeback teaser schedule on the group’s SNS.
On May 13, they revealed their next and comeback single, titled "Babalik".
