Gaur Gopal Das (Hindi: गौर गोपाल दास) is an Indian spiritual leader, a lifestyle coach and a motivational speaker.[1] He has been a monk and part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) since 1996.[2]

Early life and education[edit | edit source]

Gaur Gopal Das was born in Maharashtra, India. He graduated as an electrical engineer, having studied at the College Of Engineering, Pune.

Career as a monk[edit | edit source]

He worked for Hewlett-Packard and then became a monk and life coach. In the year 1996 he joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). He is a disciple of Radhanath Swami.

Motivational Speaker[edit | edit source]

Das is part of the leadership of the ISKCON Chowpatty branch, and has been giving talks at colleges and companies in India and abroad.[3] He speaks on topics like success, happiness and relationships.[4] He has also spoken at several local TEDx events such as TEDx IIM Ranchi.[2][5]

He was a speaker at Project Management National Conference, India 2017 held at Chennai.[6] During his 2016 visit to London, he gave a talk at the British Parliament.[7][8]

He was a keynote speaker at Third International Yoga Day, organised by Consulate General of India in Chicago held in June 2017.[4]

  • He was awarded the 2016 Rotary International's Super Achiever Award for outstanding contribution in field of spirituality and inspiration.
  • He was awarded 'Danveer Karna Award' by KIIT University to recognise his selfless contributions to promote the ideologies of 'Art of Giving' and compassion throughout the world.[9]
  • Best Spiritual/Motivational Show on web by IWM Digital Awards 2018.[10]
