Geoffrey K. "Geoff" Davis is an entrepreneur and award-winning leader in microfinance and social impact. He is currently the CEO of the Sorenson Impact Center, part of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.[1]
Education[edit]
Davis completed a bachelor's degree in international relations, graduating from Brigham Young University in 1996.[2] He earned a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2001.
Career[edit]
Davis has been involved with more than 25 startups, as a founder, co-founder, or advisor.[3] In 2005, as part of Stanford University's "Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders" series, Davis discussed the challenges and opportunities he faced as President and CEO of Unitus.[4] By 2009, Davis had joined the board of the crowd-funded lending platform Kiva.[5] In July 2020, Davis joined the University of Utah's Sorenson Impact Center as CEO.[1]
