Georgi Nikolayevich Tasin (Ukrainian: Гео́ргій Микола́йович Та́сін; 10 March 1895 – 6 May 1956) was a Ukrainian Soviet film director. He is best known for directing The Night Coachman.
Early life[edit]
Georgi Tasin was born as Georgy Nikolaevich Rozov in Shumyachi. In 1917, he graduated from Petrograd Psychoneurological Institute. From 1929 to 1941 he was the director at the Odesa Film Studio.
Death[edit]
He died at Kiev on May 5 1956. He was then buried at Baikovo Cemetery.
