Georgia Sagri, Greek Γεωργία Σαγρή, (* 1979 in Athens) is a Greek sculptor, installation, performance and video artist.[1][2]
Life and Work[edit]
GSagri studied cello at the Athens Conservatory until 1993. In 2002 she graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts with honors. From 2006 to 2008 she studied at Columbia University. Sagri has been awarded numerous prizes and exhibits both nationally and internationally.[3]

Social Activism and Feminism[edit]
She has participated in various social movements[11] such as The Void Network[12] [13]in Athens, Greece and The Occupy WallStreet activist movement [12] [13]in USA and she was a co-founder of the Occupy Wallstreet.[12] [14][15]For her participation in Occupy Wallstreet her apartment was raided by NYPD.[16] The magazine Rolling Stone cites Georgia Sagri as "Greek Anarchist Organizer"[17].
