Nwosu Gerald Ugochukwu (born 11 September 1992), stage name Gerald Milton, is a recording artist and songwriter. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria and is of Nigerian origin.[1]
Early life[edit]
Gerald Milton is from Abia in the Igbo Nation; Born to Retired Nigerian Naval Commodore M.O Nwosu and Princess Adanma Nwosu.He spent his early years in the city of Lagos, in a household very influenced by Rap music due to his brothers.
University education[edit]
After Finishing his secondary education From Command Secondary School Ipaja Lagos, then got admission to study Industrial Physics-Electronics and IT Applications from Covenant University.Gerald Milton graduated in 2013 from Covenant University[2] with a B Sc. in Industrial Physics-Electronics and IT Applications.However while in school,he performed at gigs within and outside the university campus. which eventually led to his First ever Music Award in the year 2012.
Music career[edit]
Gerald Milton got inclination to rap music in 2002 when he started listening to Eminem and furthermore listening to Naeto C in 2008. Then he started writing rap lyrics in 2009 and had a great experience for a start. It was not Until 2012 when he actually started recording some demo songs. Gerald Milton sites Eminem, J.cole, Naeto C and Ice Prince as his major musical influence.
