The Global Khmer Bible (GKhB) is an upcoming translation of the Bible in Khmer language produced by Global Bible Initiative (formerly Asia Bible Society) using translation tools developed by GBI. The project was started on 2006.
The translation of the New Testament was completed on 2018, and the dedication ceremony[1] was celebrated at Hotel Cambodiana in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 3 August 2019, with more than 200 attendees from leaders and pastors from various Christian churches and organizations. The New Testament has been released in electronic versions such as YouVersion app and Global Khmer Bible app for both Android and iOS devices.
The translation of the Old Testament is currently in progress.[2]
