Goodnight Sweetheart The Musical is a jukebox musical based on the award-winning BBC TV comedy series of the same name and written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran. The musical follows the story of unlikely time traveler Gary Sparrow, and features songs from the 1940's and 1980's.
Original Production[edit]
The production debuted at the Brookside Theatre[1], Romford on Saturday 15th September 2018.
This musical[2][3][4][5] was written by Laurence Marks (British writer) and Maurice Gran, one of Britain's leading comedy writing partnerships and the duo behind Birds of a Feather, The New Statesman and Shine On Harvey Moon and was cited by the BBC as one of the "theatre shows you won't want to miss in 2018."[6]. Marks & Gran also wrote the musicals Dreamboats and Petticoats and Save The Last Dance For Me (musical).
