Google Business Group Yaba (GBG Yaba)[1] one of the Google Business Groups [2], is a non-profit community of business professionals to share knowledge about web technologies for business success. GBG Yaba, domiciled in Yaba, Lagos is focused on helping startups, entrepreneurs and business professionals in the "Yabacon Valley" and environs make the most of digital technologies and tools in growing their businesses. The Community is supported by Google and driven by local community managers (Leads and Co-Leads) but independent from Google, the corporation.[3]
Event[edit]
The Business Festival (BIZFEST) is an annual global event organized to help startup founders, entrepreneurs, business professionals and developers get information on the latest business tools and digital hacks to grow their business. In 2019,Organizations such as BusinessDay, Malta Guinness, Nestle partnered with Google Business Group Yaba on BIZFEST to host about 500 entrepreneurs and startup founders.[4][5]
GBG Yaba also organizes a variety of events like meetups, workshops and conferences where like-minded entrepreneurs can connect, learn, and get inspired. GBG events are specially organized for startup founders and do not require technical knowledge.[6]
