Greg Haberny (born 1976)[1] is an American artist and filmmaker based in New York.

Early life and education

Haberny was born in 1976 in Connecticut.[2] He studied at Sacred Heart University, where he received his MA in media studies.[2]

Career

Haberny's artist residencies include The Fountainhead Residency[3] and McColl Center for Art + Innovation.[4]

In 2016, Haberny held an exhibition called 'Py•r•o·glyph•s' at the Catinca Tabacaru Gallery in New York. His works for this exhibition were based on the process of burning his old artworks and creating new ones from the ashes.[5]
