Growel's 101 is a 7.5 lakh sq ft[2] shopping mall in Kandivali, Mumbai.[3] It was opened in 2010[1] and is located in the suburb of Kandivali.[4] The building design has been inspired by Neoclassical architecture.[5]

Events[edit]

Growels 101 has been very active in bringing the local community together through doing community based events with in the mall.

  • Europa Calling Extravaganza, this includes a line up of flamenco, gypsy show, a contemporary dance workshop and street magicians, amongst others.[6][7][8]
  • ‘ROAD RAGE’ seminar was organised with personalities from different fields namely - Dr.Mohankumar Dahikar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Ms. Armin Wandrewala (Founder & Author - Sanity On Our Roads, SOOR) and Dr. Sajid Ali Khan of Kohinoor Hospital a noted Clinical Psychologist attended and addressed the event.[9]
  • Kerala-based artist Sivadas Vasu's second large scale creation is a reproduction of one of Wenner's popular works, the painting is reminiscent of ancient Italian art.[10]
  • Christmas activity for children to experience radio jockeying in a radio station simulator.[11]
  • Energy Conversation Workshop was conducted for the retailers at the mall[12]
  • Children visiting the mall got an opportunity to play games, participate in workshops and meet their favorite super heroes from Marvel.[13]

Future[edit]

Phase 2 to be built in Growels 101, Kandivli[14][15] As of January 2020, it stands as one the first malls in Mumbai adopting a 24x7 open service.[16]
