Barenbrock studied as a Masterstudent at the Kunstakademie Münster, Germany (1993).[1] Her work is characterized by her experimentation with archived footage collected during her trips around the world.[2] Since the 1990s, Barenbrock archives video and image material which she uses in artistic interventions.[1]
