Gustavo Rocha Tosta, known only as Gustavo Rocha (born 2 March 1997) is a Brazilian YouTuber, model, and singer. Known for his internet videos reaching millions of internet users, he participated in Eliana's "Internet Famous" program, the Rede Record "Legendários" program, worked on the "Academia de Estrelas" series by SBT, and is known for the hit "Fim de Semana".[3][4][5][6][7][8] [9][10][11]
Biografia
Gustavo Rocha became known, along with his brother Túlio Rocha, for doing shirtless dances. The videos garnered millions of views online, and Túlio and Gustavo quickly gained millions of followers. Currently, Gustavo has more than 5 million followers on Instagram alone. Gustavo Rocha is the son of Marcia Rocha and Sidney Tosta and is the brother of Túlio Rocha and Tamires Rocha.[12]
In 2014, the brothers created YouTube channels, which now have more than 2 million subscribers.[13]
In 2015, Gustavo Rocha moved to São Paulo with his family to further his singing career. They rented an apartment in downtown São Paulo, where they currently reside. The duo's focus is on pursuing careers as sertanejo singers.[14]
In 2015, Gustavo Rocha and Túlio Rocha were launched as a musical duo with the single "Dois Vai Te Fazer Gamar," and soon after released another single called "Fim de Semana" that reached a million views on YouTube. They are among the biggest YouTubers in Brazil and tour the country, singing both copyrighted and non-copyrighted songs. They perform at VIP events and other functions.[15] Currently, Gustavo Rocha is in the cast of the "Academia de Estrelas" series on the SBT channel, along with Giovanna Chaves and his brother Túlio Rocha.[16][17][18]
