Gwyneth Gyimah Addo known as Gwen Addo is a Ghanaian entrepreneur, author, and the CEO of Hair Senta.[1][2] Addo is the author of the book Direction[3][4] and also engages in some philanthropic work.
Early life and education
Addo was the fourth of six children born to Charles Allen Gyimah and Susanna Osei Nyarko Gyimah. She had her tertiary education at the University of Ghana in Legon, obtaining a bachelor's degree in philosophy. In 2016, she graduated with an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).[5]
Career
Addo joined the Standard Chartered Bank Ghana after her first degree. She later resigned in 2012 to set up a hair extensions business she named Hair Senta.[6][7][8][9]
She also owns the Hair Senta International Beauty Show (HIBS Africa) which promotes the beauty industry in Ghana and Africa through beauty shows and marketing events.[10][11][12]
