H.N.Manith Dulnim (born 07 June 2003) is a Sri Lankan musician who has finished Violin Visharada in Bhathkande Sangeeth Vidyapit. He is currently mastered in Violin, Keyboard, Vocal and percussion. CEO of the MDEx Music Magazine studios at Piliyandala, Sri Lanka.

Personal Life[edit]

H.N.Manith Dulnim was born on 06 June 2003 in piliyandala. His father H.N.Priyashantha is currently working at Moratuwa Municipal Council as the Deputy Municipal Engineer while his mother works as a government school teacher. He started his music career since he was at the age of 7. Professionally his musical life begun in 2016 after he met his second music master Jagath Wickramasinghe while studying music at the Sanhinda Kalayathana at Rawathawatte, Moratuwa by his first music master Amarasiri Munasinghe.

Since 2008 he was studying at Prince of Wales College till 2019 for his ordinary level exams and scored a good result behalf of his school and teachers who taught him. In 2019 he also finished his Violin Visharada Part 2 successfully at the Bhathkande Institute of Music, Lucknow, India and currently following Thabla Prathama and Guitar Prathama in the same institute. He joined to an acoustic music band in 2020 which was started by a friend of him. Also, he began a music compositing and event organizing service named as MDEx Music Magazine in March 2020 with the help of his parents and the newly began music band members. He hopes to run a music studio from August 2020 which is currently being constructed at piliyandala.

Music Career[edit]

Manith Dulnim was a performer and an instrumentalist at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation since 2016 for more than 6 times. Also after finishing his music studies at the music institute he started to do free music teaching sessions and classes for the music students in Sri Lanka. After joining the music group of Jagath Wickramasinghe he performed as a chorus singer[1] at Raigam Tele'es award ceremony in 2017[2][3]. Manith also shows good talents in poetry. He has won 2 awards from the governing councils in Sri Lanka for gaining the 1st place among many competitors in many instances. He is currently composing a poem book and music book to publish in 2021.
