Jaishankar Chigurula[2] is an Indian film director,[3] screenwriter, from Telugu cinema[4],he was born 1992 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. His debut film 21.The film created a world record as the lowest-budget feature film of the 21st century. This film was made with 1,59,000,indian rupees. which is equivalent to $2,400 USD (2016). The film also broke senior filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's Ice Cream low-budget record.[5][6] 21 film was released on 29 July 2016.[7] fetched positive reviews[8] and emerged successful at the box office.[9]
Early life[edit]
Jaishankar was born on 3 March, at Secunderabad, Telangana, India into a poor family. His mother was Lakshmi Chigurula and his father Mallaiah Chigurula. Jaishankar wanted to be a filmmaker from his schooldays. He was schooled at Govt Boys High School, Secunderabad. He was an average student in school life, but liked doing panting, making Sculptures and reading books, writing story's. He Has a multiple talents from his schooldays. and spent much of his time in the library. He has participated in many cultural activities & Events from his schooling. He studied intermediate at R.K. Junior College, Secunderabad. one day he left his studies for Films. decided to join the film industry at Tollywood, Hyderabad as an assistant director, but did not get an opportunity. few years after that he learnt Animation & Editing, decided to make a movie on his own with some help from friends. He started the movie 21 in 30 March 2014, The film was released on 29 July 2016.

Jaishankar started the movie 21[10] on 30 March 2014, under the new production company Owl Motion Pitchers. with very micro budget. The film was released on 29 July 2016. fetched positive reviews[11]and emerged successful at the box office. with comparing the movie budget.
