Randy Goffe, the creator of HOME, is a music producer from Punta Gorda, Florida, USA, who now lives in Chicago.[1] His music created for the project is often classified as Synthwave or Chillwave, genres influenced by 70s and 80s music. Many consider him the creator of chillsynth.
He is most known for his song 'Resonance' from his 2014 album Odyssey, which he started at age 16. 'Resonance' is one of the most well-known songs of the genre and has been repeatedly remixed in different forms, including in 'Childish Gambino - Do Ya Like'.
Many of HOME's demos are widely used in YouTube videos.
