Hadeel Qasim Hussain Al-Okbi is a Shia Muslim woman. She is Iraqi by nationality. She is a philanthropist and humanitarian. She was honored with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Peace Prize in 2015 in recognition of her work for the betterment of the refugees. Her notable works are about child refugees who were forced to flee to Iraq due to conflicts in their own countries. She made outstanding efforts for helping the child refugees. She is the only Muslim after Abdul Sattar Edhi to be honored with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Peace Prize. She is also the only second woman to achieve this landmark after Sindhutai Sapkal of India in 2014. She is a motivational speaker as well.[1]
