Haider Kazmy (born 15 November, 1972) commonly known as Hyder Kazmi, is an Indian actor, producer and director based in Mumbai, India.[1][2] Hyder is known for his appearance in the film Jihad. He was the producer and actor of the film.[3] The film was also featured at the Cannes Film Festival.[4]

Career[edit]

Kazmy began his acting career from Delhi Theater where he was introduced with Shri Manoj Kumar in Bharat ke Shaheed. He acted in a telefilm Mahapaash(1993), based on terrorism in India. The film reached France Telefilms Festivals.[5]

In 2003, Kazmy produced his first Bollywood film Patth starring Sharad Kapoor, Payal Rohatgi, Aijaz Khan and Rakhi Sawant.[6][7]

In 2021, He launches his OTT platform Mastani. The film Jihad was released on the platform on July, 2021.[8][9][10]
