Hanuman Prasad Mishra

Hanuman Prasad Mishra (1913–1999) was an Indian sarangi player from Varanasi.[1]
Early life[edit]
Mishra was born in 1913 in Varanasi and learned music from an early age.
Career[edit]
Mishra who belonged to a family of musicians, started learning sarangi by his father and grandfather. Beside his father and grandfather he learned also from the great vocalist Bare Ramdas Mishra. Mishra has perfomed in India and outside the country. [2]
Death[edit]
Mishra died in 1999 at the of 86 in Varanasi.[3]
