Harle Kurier is a German passenger vessel operated by Reederei Warrings in Lower Saxony. The ship is used for harbour cruises and excursion traffic from Wilhelmshaven and also operates seasonally as a passenger and bicycle ferry between Wilhelmshaven and Eckwarderhörne.[1][2]

History

The vessel was built in 1971 by Gebrüder Schlömer in Oldersum.[3] According to maritime registry data, the ship later sailed under the names Langeoog II, Stadt Wittmund, and Spiekeroog II before receiving the name Harle Kurier in 1991.[3]

In its present role, the ship is operated by Reederei Warrings and is based in the Carolinensiel/Wilhelmshaven area.[4] The operator uses the vessel for harbour tours, excursion services, and seasonal ferry crossings for passengers and bicycles.[1][2]

Design and characteristics

According to the operator, Harle Kurier has a gross tonnage of 218, a length of 37.00 metres, a beam of 7.20 metres, and a draught of 0.99 metres.[4] The vessel has capacity for 350 passengers.[4]
