Harley Arsenault is a Canadian record producer, recording engineer, and songwriter. Arsenault's credits include work with artists such as, Drake, Future, Young Thug, Kid Cudi, PartyNextDoor, Rihanna, Michael Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Popcaan, Majid Jordan, SSGKobe.[1]

He has worked on several albums such as, Certified Lover Boy , Partymobile, Scorpion, More Life, Views, What a Time to Be Alive, PartyNextDoor 3, Sept. 5th and 4Milli.

Career[edit]

Arsenault attended Metalworks Institute in Mississauga for audio production and engineering, and graduated in 2015.[2] While studying at Metalworks Institute, Arsenault was discovered by Noah "40" Shebib, he then began interning at SOTA Studios where he began his career.[3]

In 2018, he worked on Drake’s Scorpion which was nominated for the 2019 Grammy Awards's Album of the Year.[4][5] In 2019, Arsenault received the Alumni Award of Merit from the Metalworks Institute for his work at the OVO Sound record label.[6]

In 2021, Arsenault composed three tracks TSU, N 2 Deep, and IMY2 of Drake's album Certified Lover Boy.[7][1][8][9] The album won the XXL Award 2022 for the Album of the Year,[10] and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards. In December 2021, Drake withdrew the album from consideration.[11]

Arsenault is closely associated with the record label OVO Sound and the Toronto music scene. His style of production is often ambient, dark and hard-hitting.
