Haroon Hakimi[1] (born 2 February 1991) in Zabul, Afghanistan is a spokesperson and a young Pashto poet[2] and writer who is currently working as a spokesperson at the Ministry of Information & Culture. Haroon Hakimi is also a Media Advisor. He speaks fluent Pashto, Dari (Persian), Hindi, Urdu and English.[3][4]
Career
Eleven years of experience in Social Affairs,[5] diplomacy, management, culture, administrative fields and various national and international media outlets, including: BBC, RTA, Lemar Television,[6] Spogmai Radio, Storai political magazine, ShnaPana Cultural and Social bimonthly magazine, Hewad Daily newspaper, Lyecee bimonthly Cultural and Social magazine, and different websites.[7]

- Currently the Spokesperson and advisor for Media Policies to the Ministry of Information, Culture, Youth and Tourism of Afghanistan.[8]
- 2011 – 2012 Diplomat, monitoring South-East Asian countries' media and chief editor of Storai magazine in the department of media at the Ministry of foreign affairs of Afghanistan
- 2010 – 2012 Announcer and producer of literary, historical and stage programs in (RTA) TV.
- 2010 – 2012 Senior Announcer and Presenter of Spoozhmy FM Radio, Kabul
