Harrison Deal

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Harrison Thomas Deal (29 February 2000[1] - 4 December 2020) was a campaign staffer for Kelly Loeffler. He died at age twenty while driving his automobile in Chatham County, Georgia while traveling toward the Savannah airport to do work with Mike Pence on the Donald Trump 2020 presidential campaign.

Death[edit]

The crash occurred on Interstate 16 and involved two other vehicles.[2][3][4]

The crash was investigated by the Pooler Police and Georgia State Patrol.[5]

Aftermath[edit]

Brian Kemp (the Governor of Georgia) described him as a member of the family,[6] and Lucy (Brian's daughter) described Harrison as her best friend.[7] Condolences were offered by President Donald Trump.[8]

In May 2021, the driver of the truck that struck Deal's car was indicted for homicide by vehicle in the second degree.[9]

Conspiracy theory[edit]

The close proximity (ten days later) of the 14 December 2020 death of James David O'Sullivan (a Special Agent in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation) resulted in an unsupported conspiracy theory that O'Sullivan was killed for investigating Deal's death. After Lin Wood circulated it, the GBI responded by saying that their office had not been involved in investigating the death.[10]

Sidney Powell made a claim in September 2021 that Deal was murdered via car bomb to prevent the governor from launching a voter fraud investigation into the 2020 Presidential election, presumably by Democrats.[11]
