Harry Nikander (Born June 18, 1957) was a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman. During his 18 year professional career, he played 17 seasons with Porin Ässät and one with Luleå HF. Nikander played 600 games in the SM-liiga and 16 in the I-divisioona with Ässät, scoring 57 goals and 105 assists for 162 points.
Nikander won one Finnish championship with Ässät in 1978, but he also won three silver medals and a bronze.[1] He is the Matti Keinonen trophy winner of 1986, for having the best +/- statistic in the SM-liiga.
Harry Nikander died in September 2004 at the age of 47 after complications with alcohol and mental health.[2]
