Hassan Bawab is the founder and CEO of the global digital marketing company Magic Logix.[2][3][4][5][6][7] Bawab is a Lebanese immigrant. He moved to the United States in 1999.[5][6][8] Bawab is a speaker and technology writer.[9]

Education[edit]

In 2004, Bawab received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Texas where he minored in Technical Writing and Mathematics. In 2011, Bawab completed a graduate level marketing program at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.[2][3][4][6][10]

Bawab founded Magic Logix in 1999.[2][3][5][6][7] Bawab was an engineer and technical analyst at FedEx Kinko's.[4][6][10]

Bawab publishes articles about innovative web development, ecommerce strategies, marketing automation SEO trends and digital marketing.[11] He is also a business speaker.[4][12] He has spoken at the University of North Texas, Inbound Marketing Summit, Social Media Club, Drupal Days, SMX, industry conventions, and SEMPO/Google.[13] In 2010, Bawab launched Biztech Roundtable, a networking organization for technology executives in the Dallas and Ft. Worth metropolitan area.[4][10][11]

Bawab was a judge at a Dallas Business Journal event in early 2012.[14]

Blueshift Research, a San Francisco company, interviewed Bawab in October 2012. The interview focused on Google's efforts to expand into the travel industry.[15] In November 2012, Bawab spoke at a roundtable event in Fort Worth. This event encouraged cooperation between industry leaders and government officials. The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization held this event.[13] In 2012 Bawab spoke at Drupal Days. Drupal Days is a Dallas event intended to connect developers from around the world.[16]

Magic Logix[edit]

Magic Logix’s headquarters are in Dallas, Texas.[2][3][5][6][17] Although Bawab founded Magic Logix in 1999, he did not launch the company until 2006.[5] Bawab launched Magic Logix when he was still a FedEx employee.[3][5]

Magic Logix is a global digital marketing agency that merges technology and online marketing.[18] Magic Logix focuses on providing customized solutions to produce ecommerce solutions, custom CMS development using HTML5 and Marketing Automation Integration.[5] Bawab manages, oversees, and plans business development at Magic Logix.[2][12]

In an April 2012 interview, Bawab announced plans to open two new Magic Logix locations, one in the Silicon Valley and one in the Middle East.[3][17]

Magic Logix clients include FedEx Kinko's, Whole Foods Market, Marketo, Actian Corporation, Marriott, Actian, Andrews Distributing, FrontRange Solutions, Interwest Partners and Talend. Magic Logix has developed mobile applications for its clients.[2][5]

Awards and recognition[edit]

In July 2012, Best Design named Magic Logix #4 to its "10 Best Web Design Firms" list.[19] Magic Logix consistently ranks highly on Drupal Development Company’s and Magento Solutions Company’s Best Web Design Agencies lists.[20][21]

The Dallas Business Journal included Bawab on its list of “Best 40 under 40 CEOs” in 2011.[22]

In 2012, The Young Entrepreneur Council invited Bawab to join their group.[7] This council provides resources to young entrepreneurs.[23]

Bawab received praise in 2012 for his contributions to the research of Will Critchlow.[24]
