HeartCatch Pretty Cure! the Movie: Fashion Show in the Flower Capital…Really?! (Japanese: 映画 ハートキャッチプリキュア!花の都でファッションショー···ですか!?, Hepburn: Eiga HātoKyatchi Purikyua! Hana no Miyako de Fasshon Shō...Desu ka!?)[lower-alpha 1] is a 2010 Japanese animated action fantasy film based on the Pretty Cure franchise created by Izumi Todo, and its seventh series, HeartCatch PreCure! The film is directed by Rie Matsumoto, co-written by Midori Kuriyama and Takashi Yamada, and produced by Toei Animation. The film was released in Japan on October 30, 2010.[3]

In the film, Tsubomi and the others visit Paris, France and encounter a mysterious boy named Olivier, who is being manipulated by a man named Count Salamander.

Plot[edit]

While sight seeing near the Eiffel Tower, Tsubomi runs into a boy named Loup-Garou, who's being chased by a group of flying Snackey sent by a man named Baron Salamander. After running away, Salamander catches up to Loup-Garou and turns him into a Desertrian, which Erika and Itsuki arrives and restores Loup-Garou back to normal. The next day, Loup-Garou hangs out with the Pretty Cures individually, and with the girls having trouble pronouncing his name, Tsubomi names the boy Olivier. Later that night, the full moon rises, and Tsubomi witnesses Olivier's transformation, and assures him not to worry.

The next day, Olivier walks with Yuri, whom he reveals that he'd stolen Baron's jewel earlier, which is his source of power, while Yuri deduced that Salamander is his father and received his powers from him. Salamander appears before them, and Yuri transforms and fight. During the fight, it is revealed that Salamander was sealed away in a church by the first Pretty Cure named Cure Ange 400 years ago, until he met younger Olivier, who've helped him escape. With Olivier choosing to go with Salamander, Yuri goes back and tells the others the news, with Tsubomi bawling with sadness. Erika and Itsuki cheers her up and decides to face Olivier and Salamander.

After a brief fight, Salamander activates Olivier's demonic side, and he attacks the Cures as soon as they arrive. During the fight, Blossom shields Erika's attack for Olivier, which calms the boy. Unfortunately, Sunshine and Moonlight is unable to get through Salamander, and he transforms into a giant dragon and attacks the city. The Cures transform into their Super Silhouette and uses "HeartCatch Shining Orchestra" attack, but are still not enough to defeat Salamander. However, with the cheering from Olivier and other citizens, the Cures manages to heal Salamander. As Salamander wakes up, Olivier suggests they go on an adventure together, and Cures have their own fashion show.
