Hero Wars is a free-to-play video game developed and published by Nexters. It was published in 2016 as a social-network game, and later released for iOS and Android mobile platforms.
Gameplay[edit]
Players control teams of heroes and titans, each one with their own set of skills. Hero Wars has many PvE and PvP-mechanics such as Campaign, Arena, Grand Arena and Tower. Some of the mechanics are available at the start of the game, while others have to be unlocked by upgrading team level.[2] It is possible to join Guilds and get rewards for cooperation with other players.[1] Every hero can be leveled up with equipment, thus increasing their stats[3]
Reception[edit]
GameRanks gave the game a score of 6.5/10, stating that it's similar to the mobile version of League of Angels II. The reviewer complimented the fact that the game was free-to-play, and wrote that "it was fun to play and there is a good support of developers".[3] MMOSquare thought that Hero Wars provides "a totally hassle free experience in playing MOBAs and MMORPGs", while also noting "a well-defined raiding and PvP functionality".[1]
