Michael Anthony Spranger Simas Jr., professionally known as Mikey22 (formerly Hezzi Blue), is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was born on November 1, 2008, in Providence, Rhode Island.
Early life
In 2019, at the age of 10, Mikey22 began experimenting with rap as a hobby. He recorded songs in a variety of styles and occasionally shared them with friends and on platforms such as SoundCloud.
Career
In 2022, at the age of 14, Mikey22 began pursuing music professionally under the stage name Hezzi Blue. He released his debut single, Empire, which marked the beginning of his official music career and became available on major streaming platforms.
In early 2023, he released the single Protect, continuing to build his presence as an independent artist.
On October 1, 2023, he released his debut studio album, Out My Way. The album featured a blend of rap and melodic performances, with Protect serving as one of its lead singles.
Following the release of Out My Way, he adopted the stage name Mikey22, under which he continues to release music.
