Colonel Horace George Victor Roberts MC[1] was a Officer of the British Army awarded the Military Cross for Gallantry who served during World War I and World War II. He served in the Royal Tank Regiment, R.A.C.[2]

Horace George Victor Roberts was born 8 May 1887 in Wandsworth (Middlesex, London) United Kingdom to parents George and Elizabeth Roberts. Horace was the only son in the Roberts family, with 2 older sisters in Ethel May Roberts (14 years older) and Amy Beatrice Roberts (13 years older), and a younger sister Elizabeth Maud Roberts (5 years younger).

Horace was baptised into the Church of England (Anglican) at St. Luke's Church, Battersea, Surrey, England on 26 June 1887.[3]
