Cary Kaiming Huang and Michael Yiming Huang[lower-alpha 1] (born March 18, 1997) are American twins, YouTubers, voice actors and animators who co-created the web series Battle for Dream Island and the interactive online visual tool The Scale of the Universe.
Early life and education
The Huang twins were born on March 18, 1997 and grew up in Moraga, California. Cary studied computer science at Stanford University and Michael studied film at the University of California, Berkeley.[1]

In 2005, the twins created htwins.net, where they released several Flash games.[2]
The Scale of the Universe
In 2010, the twins created The Scale of the Universe,[3] which was followed by The Scale of the Universe 2 in 2012[4][5] and featured on NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day in 2018.[6]
Battle for Dream Island
In 2009, the twins began to work on Battle for Dream Island after Cary made a fake catalog with characters in it.[1]
Abacaba
On June 21, 2014, Cary launched Abacaba, a YouTube channel where he uploaded data visualization videos pertaining to topics such as chess,[7] internet memes,[8] and the COVID-19 pandemic.[9]
Impact
The minor planet 10003 Caryhuang is named after Cary.[10]
