Hunks in Trunks are a Naked butler company who were at the centre of an international news story on 16 October 2018 following a visit to the Milton Lodge care home in Colchester.[1]

Milton Lodge ran a 'wishes of residents' scheme, and one of their elderly female residents wished for a man. The care home staff decided to book Hunks in Trunks.[2] As a result, the story was covered by various news outlets, as well as on the TV shows Loose Women and This Morning[3]. The segments were subject to debate, criticism, and complaints on social media, being dubbed 'sexist' and 'double standards'.[4]

The story and debate were covered extensively in the UK by outlets including Metro,[5] the Daily Mirror,[6][7] LADbible[8], The Sun.[9], BuzzFeed.[10], ITV.[11] and the Daily Record.[12]

The story was also covered internationally, including in Australia,[13] Asia,[14] and across America.[15][16]
